About the DUMBO gallery scene
Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, DUMBO is one of the most photogenic corners of New York, and one of the most walkable art districts: galleries, non-profit art organizations, and creative studios sit within a few short blocks, framed by the bridges and the river. The neighborhood has long positioned itself as an arts hub, and the concentration of spaces makes it easy to see a lot in a little time.
Combine a gallery walk with the waterfront park and the bridge views and it's one of the more scenic art outings in the city. These are the DUMBO galleries we track.
